Journey on the Elephant back is the most exclusive safari through the Corbett National Park, India's first and one of its finest Tiger Reserve. These safaris not only make it possible to view wildlife from the back of an elephant, but perhaps more importantly, provide the unique opportunity to share a day in the life of the elephant. Whether it's game viewing from their backs, picnicking with them in the bush, grooming, feeding or swimming with them, or simply experiencing the pleasure of being close to such magnificent animals, the encounter is truly unforgettable.

The elephant safari is divided into two types. The first type of safari takes place inside the tiger reserve of the national park while the second type of elephant safari takes place in the buffer zone of the national park. The elephant safari is available in only two zones inside the Tiger Reserve namely Dhikala and Bijrani on first reach and get basis, directly to the guests and cannot be booked in advance. The tourists can view places which are inaccessible in a jeep if they opt for the elephant safari. One can view the surrounding from a great height thus giving the tourists something to remember for the rest of their lives.
